Last Year, F&W Forestry Services was independently third-party audited to the Group Tree Farm standards making F&W the first forestry consulting firm in the nation to be group certified.

The Plum Line, a nationally recognized audit firm, spent approximately 40 man-days inspecting group member properties and reviewing internal documentation.

The audit was focused on operational compliance with F&W’s published group guidelines. The group guidelines are flexible enough to meet member’s land ownership goals while considering the Tree Farm’s objectives of wood production, water quality, wildlife habitat, and recreational opportunities.
