Mapping is an important tool in managing forest lands. Maps provide landowners with
information about their land including acreage, the type, size and age of different tree stands on the property, boundary lines, streams, roads, and more.
We maintain a geographic information system (GIS) using automated digital mapping
procedures based on ArcCad, AutoCad and ArcView software. Maps can be geographically referenced to U.S. Geological Survey digital map data, either directly or through field collection of GPS (global positioning
system) coordinate data. This provides our clients with a highly accurate geographic overview of their forest land.
