to offer mortgage loans to southern timberland investors.
Prudential has been in the agricultural lending arena for more than 100 years. Prudential Mortgage Capital is among the
nation’s largest agricultural lenders with a portfolio of approximately $2 billion as of December 31, 2003.
F&W’s network of offices across the south, staffed with professional
forestry and forestland experts, makes a natural fit with Prudential’s desire to expand into timberland lending.
